Transformation of an Object in Adobe Photoshop



We can transform Image or Text or Any shape created in photoshop using transform option which is located in Edit menu.
Step 1: To transform an object in photoshop we have to create or open that object in a new layer. For an example we have create a rectangular shape in a new layer. Now we will transform it.

Step 2: To transform it freely go to Edit>Free Transform Path


We will get the shape like below



Step 3: Put the mouse cursor on the corners of the shape to transform it freely.
Step 5: To rotate the shape go to Edit>Transform Path>Rotate. Now take the mouse cursor near the corner of the shape and the cursor will take shape like the image




Step 6: Now pressing “Left Mouse Button” move the cursor to rotate the shape.
Step 7: To move one corner of the shape go to Edit>Transform Path>Skew. Now click on the box of a corner of the shape to move it. You can move every corner of the shape.



Step 8: To transform two corners of the shape at a time we have to use Perspective transform command. Go to Edit>Transform Path>Perspective. Now put the cursor on a corner and try to make a shape like below



Step 9: To warp the shape go to Edit>Transform Path>Warp.


Now every corner can be moved and the shape can be wraped.





Step 10: In the transform path option there are some other option to rotate and flip the canvas in photoshop. Those are easy to use and easy to understand.
