Creating a Wood background

We will create a wood background image here. It is very easy and for beginners. We have used Adobe photoshop cc version. You can use any version of photoshop.

Step 1: Take new document with any dimension.

Step 2: Set forground color with Brown color. I have used #ba997e.

Step 3: Go to Filter>Noise>Add Noise

                Amount = 65%

                Distribution = Uniform

                Monochromatic = No

Step 4: Go to Filter>Blur>Motion Blur

                 Angle = 0

                Distance = 80

Step 5: Go to Image>Adjustments>Hue and Saturation

                Hue = 25

                Saturation = 48

                Lightness = 0

Step 6: Go to Image>Adjustments>Level. Set as your wish.

Step 7: Go to Filter>Liquify. Set as you like.

Step 8: Crop the canvas and strip out the corners to make it realistic. You will find that you have made a wood background like below.
